Booster

Perot Jain was the first to invest in Booster, a mobile fuel delivery service that helps reduce carbon load by optimizing last-mile energy distribution and reducing the cost and risk of EV adoption.

The idea for the company was initially pitched by a member of the Perot Jain team. One week later, Booster was operating out of AllianceTexas. Our connection to Hillwood and the Fort Worth Fire Department helped accelerate Booster’s market entrance at the Alliance Airport. An experience that allowed both Booster and the local government to refine their partnership through experience and adjust code for future energy transfers.

Booster has since expanded to California but remains in the Perot Jain portfolio.

Gatik

In an early-stage partnership with AllianceTexas and Hillwood, Perot Jain invested in Gatik, an autonomous logistics company advancing the middle-mile delivery of goods. The partnership helped ensure Gatik’s successful expansion to Texas.

The company works closely with AllianceTexas and the Mobility Innovation Zone (MIZ) to develop the infrastructure and network needed to support Gatik’s growth, including the ability to test new innovations at the AllianceTexas Flight Test Center, an important step that bridges safety and efficiency for autonomous vehicles.
